Howdy! I'm Camille McMorrow, a designer based in New York City. I like to use design across disciplines to tell great stories and solve nagging problems.

A few things about me

While I work on a range of projects from touchscreen kiosks to brand identities to letterpress prints, I'm most interested in work that contributes to the greater good.

I've worked with studios such as Pentagram, Intersection, Collins, and Siegel + Gale. My client list includes the city of New York, the Metropolitan Transit Authority, American Express, Honeygrow, the American Folk Art Museum and The New York Times. I hold an MFA in Design from the School of Visual Arts in NYC and a BA in English from the University of Texas at Austin.

Favorite thing about design

To do it well, you have to learn constantly, and not just about design, but about the whole world. As someone who was always interested in too many things (and worked as both an editor and web developer before finding my way to design), I was relieved to discover that design gives me a good excuse to be interested in everything.

Favorite things not about design

I WAS RAISED IN...

Austin, Texas, home to this miraculous place. Now I'm cursed with the need to jump into cold water regularly.

Barton Springs

I went to school at The University of Texas at Austin, which is home to a building that looks like a giant Rolo.
